Objectives

As already mentioned, we wanted to achieve the maintenance and revitalization of the program throughout the pandemic. The fact that four interns from two different classes were doing an international mobility spread among the student body and renewed interest in this opportunity.

Background

The application served the purpose of continuing the mobility program that has existed at our vocational college since 2009 and to guarantee continuity through the Corona crisis. Normally, at our vocational college, students from the school for social education (educators) could go abroad for two months, for the recognition year or for the first year of work. The students of the vocational high school (educators with Abitur (AHR course)) were also involved. At the time the application was submitted in 2020, there was great uncertainty about the course of the pandemic and the continuation of the Erasmus+ program. However, we wanted to keep the option open of "starting up" the program again, which we managed to do with the four mobilities that are assigned to this application. We then submitted an accreditation application in 2021, which was approved and all current mobilities are processed through this.
