Objectives

KS1 has been raising its public profile for many years through Erasmus+ projects abroad. This is important for us to remain attractive for companies and trainees in the future. It also sharpens our cooperation with companies. Through our projects, we can also map curriculum content, for example in the case of industrial clerks, which should stay abroad but, depending on the size of the company, which cannot be offered by the company itself. With regard to the secondment of educational staff, the focus in Estonia was on the continuation of the school partnership in connection with the goals of digitalisation and office management.

Background

Within the framework of dual vocational training, we as a vocational school would like to give our trainees the opportunity to broaden their intercultural horizons and improve their English language skills. We also want to involve the companies in the external effect, keyword apprentice marketing. The stay ends with the award of the KIC, Kaufmann International, certified by the German-Irish Chamber of Foreign Trade. Plus Europass. Note: in the project application, funding was also requested for a stay abroad of trainees in Estonia: due to the Ukraine conflict, we refrained from sending pupils - but sent teachers (educational staff) (amendment application was approved).
