Professionally, the participants should learn how to look over the edge of their own (German) dental practice and see that there are also other methods of treatment, which lead to similar results. Culturally, they should get to know the diversity of European ways of living to create acceptance for other cultures. Individually, they should learn how to organize their travel, stay and living in a foreign country independently and expand this competence. In addition, the expanded tolerance of other cultures at school is one of the goals.
The continuation of the project should make it possible again that as many students as possible create professional experiences in a foreign country, develop more self-awareness through planning and carrying out the practica as well as collecting interculutral impressions in order to experience and value diverstiy.
