The most important needs and goals in the area of European mobility and cooperation are: Promoting foreign language skills and intercultural competence, above all, a contribution to personal development of the learners. You gain self-confidence and, expand your professional skills and knowledge and get an insight into the working world of other countries and their cultures. This will also enhance your own vitae and expand your chances on the job market and your career prospects will be increased. An expansion of skills should be achieved among the teaching staff and among the company partners. Cooperation with European companies should be strengthened. In addition, the number of mobilities should be increased and, above all, the willingness of young trainees and young people to be mobile should be increased. Furthermore, the number of teachers and trainers who take part in this programme should be increased in order to contribute to the internationalisation of vocational training.
This is a follow-up project to the Moving Harz project, which already existed from 2017 to 2019. As many participants as possible should be offered the opportunity to realize a part of their training in another European country. In addition, international contacts with our old-established partner schools/organisations should be reactivated and new partnerships should be established. The teaching staff received further training through exchanges with other European schools and teachers through internships or job shadowing.
