(Goals: What did you want to achieve with the project?) The trainees were to observe lessons in their respective vocational specialization or subject and plan lesson sequences in consultation with colleagues at the partner institution and conduct and evaluate lessons themselves. Curricula should be compared at the level of teacher training and at the level of school framework curricula within the framework of EQF-DQR. By teaching in a foreign school environment and educational system, trainees should gain new inspiration for their education and at the same time improve their foreign language skills. Gaining knowledge about the country and its people should increase the intercultural competence of the prospective teachers. Getting to know the working and living conditions of foreign teacher colleagues should lead to a deeper reflection on their own working and living conditions.
(Background: Why did you carry out this project?) The mobility project was aimed at trainees of the „Studienseminar für das Lehramt an Berufsbildenden Schulen“ in Hannover (Teacher training college in Hannover), which has been running successful projects with partner institutions in Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Italy since 2012. The new project was to extend the work started by focusing on "Comparability between educational qualifications in a European context". The education systems in Denmark were to be compared with the German education system at school, company and university level. In addition to the exchange about different school types and training systems - especially the specifically German "dual education" and its advantages and disadvantages - and experiences in teacher training, a special focus should be on the creation of didactic concepts in vocational education and training. Common learning situations are to be developed with the partner institutions (distance learning). The condition for this is a comparison of the use of digital media in teaching. Furthermore, topics such as inclusive education at vocational schools and support systems of the respective countries should be addressed during the stay.
