One aim of the project was to pass on the European idea by as many mobilities as possible. With our long-standing partner companies abroad, we have an excellent basis to offer the apprentices high quality internships. This means: - Getting to know ecologically adapted agroforestry systems and sustainable land use practices - Cultural "new experiences" and exchange with local people they encounter - Language training to communicate and act independently - Circumstances that enable professional implementation for inclusion of disadvantaged apprentices and offer them a communal experience Furthermore, the Chamber of Agriculture Lower Saxony aimed to find new receiving organisations abroad who share the same understanding and basis of a high quality internship abroad.
The Chamber of Agriculture Lower Saxony wanted to continue and build on the previous programmes and become even more intensively involved in the area of learners mobility and teaching staff. In our function as an educational institution for the green professions in Lower Saxony, it is our objective to offer apprentices an opportunity to improve their individual skills while giving them the chance to experience the European idea. The Chamber of Agriculture Lower Saxony pursues similar aims with its teaching staff engaged in horticulture, housekeeping and agriculture. They are multipliers in the field of vocational training and pass on their experience and knowledge gained abroad to colleagues and trainees in their daily work.
