The aims of the project are directed towards the development in 3 dimensions of action competence "Around GALA Construction and Kitchen" and fulfils the methodological-didactic approach of "Learning by Doing" by the expansion of a) Professional competence (using professional knowledge and skills to solve tasks and problems in a goal-oriented, appropriate, methodical and independent manner and to assess the results; b) human competence (developing one's own talents, as well as independence, critical faculties, self-confidence, reliability, a sense of responsibility and duty, and the development of well thought-out values and self-determined commitment to values. c) Social competence ([new] living and shaping social relationships, grasping and understanding attentions and tensions, as well as dealing with and communicating with others in a rational and responsible manner. This includes in particular the development of social responsibility and solidarity.
The project "Tagewerk 21" aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of a total of 39 (ACT = 39) 34 gardeners - specialising in gardening, landscaping and ornamental plant cultivation, 3 carpenters and 2 cooks and (qualification level ISCED 3B) generally in the 3rd year of training or in the first year after the end of vocational training from the 2 regional associations GALA-Bau Rhineland-Palatinate/Saarland and GALA-Bau North Rhine-Westphalia and the Euro-BBW Bitburg in the field of "natural stone and plant use" around "GALA-Bau and kitchen" in a culturally sensitive way. Due to the inclusive approach, it was necessary to supervise 9 trainees from the Euro-BBW on site. The internship abroad ensures that the acquired professional and personal competences, learning gains and qualifications are also recognised across borders! In addition, the knowledge and skills acquired during the learning stay are certified in the Europass Mobility. This also includes social competences such as constructive communication in different environments, the willingness to integrate, respect for people of different cultures and generations and cooperation with people with different cultural and religious roots.
