The project aimed to achieve several goals: Continuation of the internationalization of technician education. This involves firmly establishing the opportunity for students in the Plastics Technology program to gain experience abroad and gain insight into international locations. A planned internship with a manufacturer of high-quality connectors was envisioned. For the Technical Product Designers and Process Mechanics at BSZ Wasserburg, the offer of a vocational language and presentation course should continue to be provided. BSZ has had very good experiences from past projects and wants to continue this. The profession of Automotive Mechatronics Technicians has not had its own, profession-specific opportunity to participate in Erasmus projects. A first project was planned to take place to allow this profession group to gain experience abroad and thus gain insight that is not standard in their training. Contact was made with an automotive supplier for this purpose. A special field of study for Technical Product Design is Wood Technology. The students should be given the opportunity to practically implement their ideas in Estonia.
The project aims to achieve various goals for BSZ-Wasserburg am Inn. Internationalization in vocational training is an important component of preparing students for the workforce and their future. For example, the field of Technical Product Design is already quite strongly internationally oriented, and collaboration with international partners is part of the everyday routine for many companies in this area. Aspiring Plastics Technicians also often have to deal with international partners and locations and should be prepared for this kind of activity. In addition to improving language skills, the focus is on gaining experience and insight into companies and institutions in other countries and cultural regions. The participants should be able to overcome or reduce any fears or hesitation they may have regarding cooperation with foreign-language institutions. International projects also serve as a showcase and advertising, particularly for the technical school. It is a valuable and profitable addition to the school's everyday routine. Furthermore, teachers broaden their horizons and learn from exchange with international companies and schools.
