As the three languages Englisch, French and Spanish are taught at school, it is evident that they should not only prepared for job qualifications but also linguistically. An international work placement is a good occasion to get to know how business works in these four countries and to improve intercultural competences. The participants should be given the opportunity to enlarge their business knowledge and to put it into practice. Processes within the companies should be recognised and compared. All in all, the participants should learn about foreign culture, different business activities and local customs and enlarge their social, intercultural and commercial competences. Four colleagues who are interested in doing job shadowing in Spain or Great Britain, had the chance to visit partner schools or attend structured training in order to exchange ideas and to get new impetus for our school, lessons and European project work.
