Objectives

FOR THE CONSORTIUM: We wanted to maintain and further develop the trustful cooperation. This concerned, among other things, a common understanding of quality standards for the planning and implementation of European projects. We wanted to further develop the synergies of our joint work and use them for future cooperation. FOR CONSORTIUM INSTITUTIONS - ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: We expanded the support offer to the schools - in terms of scope and in terms of thematic areas. We offered all vocational schools in Bavaria, NRW and Bremen the opportunity to participate in our projects and to to actively participate in the Erasmus+ programme. The consortium thus became active as a reliable partner in a larger context of partner countries - and thus also noticed. We assume that further cooperation will follow in the future. This is in line with our goal of increasing internationalisation of the work of the individual work of the individual consortium partners. FOR CONSORTIUM INSTITUTIONS - STAFF DEVELOPMENT: This project continued the previous activities of the consortium partners and strengthened the conviction among responsible and staff that international and cross-state cooperation is profitable. The consortium partners extended the support they offer to their schools - this had a motivating effect and promoted/improved cooperation with them. cooperation with them. The consortium partners disseminated the project results to promote themselves and their staff to the schools and beyond. Colleagues realised that international projects are possible for a wide variety of objectives - and they took advantage of the wide range of possibilities. This changed their perspective on their own effectiveness and their own activities. International projects were perceived as feasible - and no longer as "that's not for me!"

Background

The Bavarian State Institute for School Quality and Educational Research (Bayerisches Staatsinstitut für Schulqualität und Bildungsforschung), the EU office of the district government of Arnsberg (North Rhine-Westphalia) and the magistrate of the city of Bremerhaven (Bremen). set themselves the goal of partnering in vocational education and training and excite colleagues about Europe and European projects. On the one hand, this was achieved through mobilities that were in a process of work-based-learning with European partners about basic aspects and applications regarding the Erasmus+ programme and to enable the participants to initiate their own project ideas at their schools. On the other hand, mobilities were also planned on key topics that were and are currently omnipresent in the context of school development work at vocational schools. These undoubtedly included and still include digitalisation with all its different facets. However, this project pursued another important goal: it not only wanted to get the organising actors and participants excited about Europe, but also to strengthen cooperation between colleagues within Germany and to initiate professional networks. This was achieved by making each individual mobility transnational and was comprised of participants across the federal states: The training courses organised by the individual consortium partners were advertised equally in all three federal states and were open to all their educational staff. In the long term, this project was intended to benefit not only the individual participants and their schools, but also the consortium as a whole. and their schools, but also the consortium organizers: By having the responsible instructors familiarise themselves with standards By agreeing on standards for teacher training in other European countries and planning joint activities, the quality of future training measures could be further improved through this exchange.
