The trainees should - develop self-management skills, - test theoretical/practical professional knowledge and skills in new, international contexts, - improve foreign language skills, - expand subject-specific competences in the field of international business/cooperation, - become more aware of intra-European economic contexts, - increase mobility/flexibility, - acquire additional qualifications/intercultural competences. Teachers or company trainers should: a) (Job shadowing ECBM) - get to know new concepts in the field of business English - consolidate and develop their own language competence b) (joint job shadowing/internships of school and company trainers) - experience training concepts and learning contexts at European partner companies for themseves - define requirements in European working contexts and use them for training concepts The goals for the Berufskolleg Volksgartenstraße as a European School were: - the "Europeanisation" of educational programmes - the implementation of European qualification modules and - to further differentiate our vocational college with regard to European competences and offers.

Background

The main goal was the (further) development as a European school (from MY AIM to OUR AIM to MY AIM IV): As a certified European school in NRW, this ERASMUS+ project should also contribute to the continuation and further development of a consistent and further development of a consistent European orientation of school and company education. After the positive experiences with the initial ERASMUS+ project "MY AIM", which primarily focused on the individualised self-management skills of trainees, the development of educational programmes should now be promoted. This means that, on the one hand, elements from the previous projects should be continued and deepened, and on the other hand, our European school concept should be integrated further. On the other hand, our European School concept is to be developed further and "through" in various educational programmes. All ERASMUS projects that have been carried out have been able to continuously expand European themes and networking. MY AIM IV wanted to follow up on this.
