Background

The countries involved in the mobility project: "Come together in Europe - Imparting practical experience, intercultural and language skills as part of IT vocational training" are Germany, Finland, Spain and England. The project was originally planned for 2 years and consists of a mobility for students and a mobility for educational staff. It was planned that a total of 40 adult trainees in their 2nd year of training from the 5 IT professions would participate in the project from Germany. The project itself aims at an international education of the trainees. This is an indispensable prerequisite for successful survival in the modern labor market and for getting along in a globalized world. Reasons for the project are thus (for the students): - The preparation for future jobs in the European labor market. - To develop and maintain linguistic and intercultural competences. - The development and maintenance of the so-called soft skills - The creation of a European awareness/identity. Additional: - Networking with comparable institutions in other European countries - Getting to know other European training standards
