The first objective was to give more students of the institution the opportunity to gain experience at the level of international vocational education and training through work placements abroad, thereby enhancing their intercultural and linguistic competence. Another main objective of this project was to give teachers and members of the school management the opportunity to improve their foreign language, intercultural and digital competence. A total of 2 learning stays of education staff (incl. school management members) abroad and 20 mobilities of learners were planned. Approx. 15 learners (students of the One-Year Vocational School, model experiment Higher Commercial School dual/Higher Commercial School dual plus, abbreviated HH/HH+) were to travel to Italy as a group. They should be accompanied by 1 accompanying person on the outward journey and 1 other accompanying person on the return journey. The remaining mobilities should be undertaken by part-time students (= trainees) to different European countries (Malta, Italy, Ireland, etc.). Overall, the mobility projects should be continued and expanded and the European idea should be further promoted.
BBS Cora Berliner - created through the merger of BBS 14 and BBS Handel der Region Hannover - (institution) pursues a continuous improvement process of school quality in general and the sharpening of the school profile (sustainability and internationalisation) in particular. This includes giving teachers (incl. school management) and pupils the opportunity to expand their competences (described in more detail under Objectives) or to complete work placements abroad. Furthermore, participation in Erasmus+ was and is a building block for the additional qualification "European School in Lower Saxony". A strategic partnership with the Austrian vocational school (with which a school partnership already exists) will be pursued further.
