Objectives

Our aim is it to enable our students to tackle personal and societal challenges more easliy. It is important to enable students to think and act more globally: on the national, European and international level. Therefore, skills in cutltural awareness, linguistics, politics, economy/business, and the social area are necessary. One cornerstone achieving this is participating in “Erasmus+ “. A self-determined life endorsing autonomous, self-regulated, and social oriented life long learning should be achieved by acquiring self-confidence, responsibility, and tolerance. Students should think “outside the box” and learn in Europe for Europe. Furthermore, the European idea is to be fostered and developed within the school agenda too.

Background

”Internationalisation” is one of our main priorities to be fully realized in the school´s agenda. Therefore, the motto “By understanding business; creating perspectives” has been adapted. It is an obligation in the school´s agenda to establish a culture of focussing on international and intercultural awareness. This is embedded in the mobility project “Discover Europe, create perspectives, foster skills.” based on the recognition of ever greater mobility of people (pre Covid) in recent years. The importance of the EU, and in general internationalisation, is more and more focussed upon in the general curriculum as well as in the school`s administration and organisation. Besides, there is an rise in the sudents` interest in learning modern languages and acquiring intercultural skills which has to be taken into account too. As a result of the corona pandemic, however, the goals could hardly be achieved in the project period mentioned due to a lack of travel options.
