Objectives

The main objectives of the project were to strengthen initial vocational training in the administrative professions of the participating Hanseatic cities and to promote the European idea in line with our company name BildungsService für Europa (BilSE). By strengthening the training professions, the declining numbers of trainees were to be counteracted and the attractiveness of the professions was to be greatly increased. Furthermore, national educational borders should be overcome and professional exchange should also take place within the framework of the respective training paths. In addition, individual competencies of participants were to be strengthened and networks expanded. In order to achieve these main goals, it was planned to expand vocational training in the above-mentioned areas through foreign mobility. This was also intended to strengthen the companies in terms of training quality and the respective company orientation. Within the framework of the organized stays abroad, intercultural competences and intercultural competencies and professional skills of participants could be improved, expanded and strengthened. Furthermore, the possibility of a stay abroad should be extensively advertised.

Background

For the BilSE-Institut, both the idea of the ERASMUS+ program and especially the promotion of the European idea as well as the implementation of joint projects are essential components for strengthening individual competencies, for European networking and for cooperation in the fields of education and profession. Professional stays abroad for various target groups help people in Europe to acquire intercultural skills and increase their chances on the labor market. We also support the goal of promoting disadvantaged people in this context. Since in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the sending of apprentices or training personnel is not organized centrally, we have founded a national consortium with the help of the Hanseatic cities Rostock and Greifswald. In this network we want to support the ERASMUS+ program by organizing individual mobilities for trainees and training personnel from the administrative sector of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Furthermore, we want to contribute to strengthen the European values, to send ambassadors for our region and to make our society more inclusive and greener.
