Achieved learning successes, skills, but also international relationships from the first project in 2018 should be supplemented and worked on. Learning the Italian language from native speakers has already borne many fruits in the singing department of the school, which has shown itself in musical theater projects, choirs, singing lessons and recitals. Job shadowing of the lessons of the various Spanish forms of the Flauta y Tamboril has meant that an ever-increasing base of students at our school are also learning the instrument, and this may even initiate a small renaissance of this instrument, which has been forgotten in Germany for almst 400 years.
The Leo Kestenberg Music School is a music school not only with musical, but also with socio-political intentions. It is very attached to the international networking and exchange of musicians and music teachers as well as pupils in order to learn as much as possible from other cultures and then to pass this on to the own students. In this respect, there is a lot of international exchange, and the new Erasmus+ project as a follow-up and intensification of the first mobility in 2018 was an obvious choice.
