Background

The non-profit association dieKunstBauStelle (DKB) has been supporting socio-cultural projects with refugees and migrants for years. The use of art as a means of self-expression and personal development. Our aim is to use this tool to intervene at a high level and promote integration processes in line with EU values in a systematic and networked way at the European level. In this way, we seek to address social challenges that require flexibility in the face of change and best practises with innovative methods. We understand that this requires building a network with equality organisations to promote exchange. We believe that this is the right way to reach out to civil society and involve citizens in becoming agents of change that promote inclusion and democracy. Although we have experience, it is important for us to receive training on innovation methods in other regions, especially in areas where migration conflict is latent, such as the southern border of Europe.
