The aim of the "Lernfeld Europa +" project was professional exchange and networking across national borders. For this purpose, a learning stay took place with the partner, the Universita Popolare Trentina. A collegial dialogue on personal and professional experiences and knowledge in adult education should be encouraged so that the international and intercultural opening of the participants as well as an expansion of skills can take place. Together, the effects and success factors of adult education should be discussed and strategies developed in order to transfer the learning content into one's own work area. The varied information to be acquired, intercultural as well as technical work experience and the personal contacts should be the basis for the qualitative improvement of the concepts and skills of the participants, as well as for the establishment of international networks.
The project "Lernfeld Europa +" was carried out by the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt gGmbH as the sending and coordinating institution in cooperation with its european partner, the Universita Popolare Trentina, as the receiving institution. A learning stay at the partner organization in Italy was carried out. The project was carried out by the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt in order to achieve an international and intercultural opening of the adult education staff and the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt as an institution. International networks should also be created and existing networks maintained and expanded. The adult education staff at the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt should experience a broadening of their horizons through the learning stay. The subject-specific exchange of professional adult education staff was aimed at and the improvement of work in adult education and in particular in the work with people with a migration background.
