Countries: DE · Grant: €38,139

Objectives

Objective 1: Promote cooperation with partners and find new partners - One goal is the maintenance and intensification of cooperation with proven partners, extension of the corresponding cooperation and exchange agreements. As part of our internationalization strategy, we would also like to win new partners for cooperation in projects and mobilities. Objective 2: Increasing international skills (language, culture) - The teaching and acquisition of international professional skills in schools and companies should be improved, thereby achieving intercultural skills and openness to other cultures. Objective 3: Educational staff abroad - Requested teacher mobility will be used for further training. The teachers should gain experience with different school systems, teaching techniques, etc. Objective 4: Intensive preparation of the participants - The preparation of the participants in the mobility should be intensified so that the students and teachers get to know the culture etc. before they leave. In the past, this was a small hurdle, especially for young people who did not yet have the opportunity to travel to another country.

Background

With the Erasmus Plus programs, we want to convey the European idea to our students, but also to the teachers. With the experience and skills we have gained, we can shape Europe together. The refugee situation, the corona pandemic and growing populism show that democracy is playing an increasingly important role. Our previous projects have encouraged us that the interest in Europe on the part of the students, but also teachers, is increasing and thus supports our future European orientation. As part of our international strategy, we are motivated to carry out the projects. The corona pandemic has clearly shown us that projects of this type strengthen our European networking and cooperation. The European "WE" can only be achieved if we come together and exchange our experiences etc. The very strict rules during the pandemic (contact bans, border controls, cancellation of flights, etc.) have left their mark and must now be intensively reviewed. In particular, the doors should be open again to young people and let them be open to other cultures that are unknown.
