Countries: DE · Grant: €16,350

Objectives

For the measures from the fifth year of implementation, as well as for the previous measures, the goals were that the vocational training staff in the association should - know about important political processes on the supra-national level that affect their own work and integrate them into their work - know what their own field of work looks like in other countries and integrate this knowledge into their own educational work - be aware of innovations from other countries and integrate them into their own educational work. - communicate and cooperate with colleagues from other countries - recruit employees from other countries - get involved in supra-national processes and projects. The participants should also help as multipliers for the international perspective in the profession to implement other elements of the internationalization strategy in the association.

Background

The project was the fifth under the accreditation for the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter for VET since 2015. The LCV used the accreditation to internationalise Caritas in Bavaria by enabling vocational training staff from different disciplines to participate in a mobility measure in each of the five years of implementation. All measures together contributed to the internationalization strategy of the Association which is based on various reasons: 1. the ethical obligation to work for peace, social justice and solidarity in Europe; 2. the professional and political necessity to be informed about how relevant issues develop in other countries under different conditions in order to be able to react and exert influence; 2. the professional and political necessity to be informed about how relevant fields of work and topics develop in other countries under different framework conditions; 3. to generate added value for individuals, teams, and structures in the association through transnational work. A central lever in the strategy are the mobilities for employees who are responsible for training and further education in the association and who can thus act as multipliers for the international perspective in the association.
