Objectives

The goal was, in accordance with the mission statement and school program, to achieve internationalization in as many of the BSZW's educational programs as possible. A common learning space Europe was created, in which verifiable learning outcomes at the end of a foreign mobility were defined with the help of "work units" in the partner company. These are part of an externally acquired partial qualification. In a "Letter of Intent" it was agreed with the cooperation partners that the host organization would take care of logistical and operational aspects of the trainees' stay. It was also agreed that learning agreements would be used as an ECVET tool to define the learning outcomes to be achieved during the mobility period. The teachers prepared ways of documenting as work units the acquired and proven competences of the trainees and used the Europass Mobility. The aim of the mobility was also to increase the intercultural competences of the participants. The trainees should reduce prejudices and accept and recognize different European cultures. The trainees should become aware that learning another language is essential in the economic area of Europe.

Background

The primary goal is the promotion of key qualifications of trainees in the dual vocational training as well as its teachers, as it is also presented in the program guide of the European Commission to the Erasmus+ program. The acquisition of professional knowledge, basic skills, transversal skills and competences during a learning stay in another European country, an unreserved contact with foreign classmates, etc., as well as the acquisition of language skills and intercultural skills are such key experiences that should be promoted by this project. Our mobility project with trainees is mainly aimed at the following key skills: - Initiative and organizational skills: - independent time management and problem solving skills; - resilience and flexibility; - intercultural skills.... These qualifications should subsequently increase motivation for training and willingness to learn, improve career prospects, promote self-confidence and enhance cultural awareness. The mobility of teachers has led to an improvement in quality as well as new innovative, digital approaches to their own teaching work.free of charge
