In this project, it was planned to send 30 students from the metal department over two-week learning stays in schools and companies as well as 16 educational staff mobilities within 2 years. According to the objective of this project, the students should broaden & deepen their professional competence and at the same time communicate in another language (English) within a foreign working environment. The participants have to find their way around the environment of the partner country on their own responsibility, adapt to the local conditions and fit into existing structures and teams in the partner school or company. As a school, we are therefore also striving to expand our existing international contacts, which is why further cooperations should be established. At the same time, the established cooperations with Varia (Finland) and meanwhile also Iisalmi (Finland) as well as our partners in Spain should be further stabilized and deepened. Further regional dual partners from the Murg Valley should also be further familiarized with the Erasmus+ mobility program and included.
The acquisition of competences, professional and interdisciplinary knowledge experienced through international exchanges contribute decisively to the development of the participants (learners & educational staff). Internationalization is therefore a central part of the school philosophy at Carl-Benz-Schule. Erasmus+ gives us the ideal framework for our participants to implement such projects and activities in the European area. International exchange is also becoming increasingly important in the context of the Europeanization of the participating countries. According to the project objectives, the students should broaden & deepen their professional competence and at the same time communicate in another language in a foreign working environment. The participants have to find their way around the environment of the partner country on their own responsibility, adapt to the local conditions and fit into existing structures and teams in the partner school or company. This significantly increases the mobility of the participants with regard to the regional, national but also the European labor market. The participants can thereby react to the future labor market with a further developed self-perception.
