Objectives

Professionalisation of teachers and school headmasters in an international context: The aim was not only to establish new pedagogical concepts, curriculum developments, quality assurance procedures, management and administrative tasks, but also to make the individual, informal learning outcomes of the teaching staff in other European countries more transparent and to recognise them, as well as to manage the mobility projects through a committed team.In order to meet this demand , it is also necessary to train and promote colleagues accordingly. In this respect, an exchange in the respective countries was an important objective for the development of competences both in the language area and in the intercultural area. Last but not least, we aimed in the long term to establish international contacts for pupils with difficult school biographies and to contribute to a broadening of horizons that can strengthen their self-confidence and positively influence their perception of Europe. In the general education sector, the existing partnership with schools in southern and south-western Europe is to be maintained and further developed in order to enable more pupils to participate in projects and learning visits.

Background

Our main objective was the strengthening of international relations, especially within the European framework and the professionalisation of educational staff. We have carried out several trainings for teachers to make our educational staff more internationally fit, so that subsequently the teaching/learning arrangements also become more international and methodologically, interculturally and digital competent.
