Background

Since our school has had tablet classes since 2018, the teachers should be strengthened in dealing with digital media and with the tablet and learn new learning concepts in connection with digitalisation and gain more competences. The project was intended to support the Digital Pact and make it a success. The project was intended to involve more teachers from the school in the international project work, as after 2020, in addition to an already running three-year KA2 project with long-term mobilities (5 partner schools), further Erasmus+ projects were planned for the school. Overall, there was a need to train teaching staff to keep up with the international context in terms of subject matter, methodology, didactics and language. Teachers who were still inexperienced in this regard were to be newly won over to broaden their horizons internationally. Of course, it was also about improving the quality of teaching and getting to know new didactic-methodical approaches in dialogue with other European teachers. We wanted to offer our students modern teaching, a "Better School 2.0", which, compared to other European schools, is able to keep up with the digital transformation and the associated changes.
