Objectives

The aim of the project was to fill the contents and basic ideas of our mission statement with life. In the future, we would like to continue on the path of internationalisation and actively integrate the associated basic ideas such as democracy, culture, language, sustainability and lifelong learning into everyday school life. As the implementation of the IB branch is another big project besides Erasmus+, this project should first of all show the possibilities for further projects, ideas and also possible synergies of already existing projects. Furthermore, it was important for us to experience Erasmus+ live and to get a first impression.

Background

We as a school have carried out this project in order to continue on our path of internationalisation. We already meet some of the criteria of the Europa School and have also been accredited as an IB school since last year. However, we want to make sure that this is not just about certificates, but to involve learners as well as teachers and the whole school community and to implement and live the idea of internationalisation. We see Erasmus+ as an important vehicle that can support us on this path and fill the formal framework with fruitful content.
