Objectives

Our main goal was to empower students through empowered teachers. With the project, we planned to improve the teaching activities of the participants and thus the learning experiences of our students. Lifelong learning teachers consciously advocate for motivating teaching experiences for students and strengthen them. By participating in the project and exchanging with other European teachers, the participants should learn how various methods and technological developments, which are often questioned in Germany, can be successfully used in teaching, and thus teach more innovatively themselves.

Background

We organized this project to give more teachers the chance to participate in structured courses in European partner countries, in order to learn together and exchange with international partners. We expected participating in these mobilities would motivate participants to reflect their teaching methods and motivation, keep successful features of teaching, and implement new collaborative, creative and digital strategies into their future work. We planned that learning with teachers from other European countries helps our colleagues to improve their foreign language skills, and prepares them for taking responsibility in CLIL lessons. We expected teachers to learn about innovative teaching methods and strengthen their collaborative and intercultural competences.
