The project is a building block to promote our school's development in the area of IT competence of both learners and teachers. Ideally, the project should contribute to expanding the skills and knowledge of teachers in dealing with digital media by them getting to know school concepts and individual programs and technologies that have developed or are used in other countries and, if suitable, to transfer them to the Gymnasium Sulingen. In addition, the aim was to establish new international contacts that might lead to long-term cooperation.
Previous positive experiences in the context of student exchanges and Comenius and Erasmus+ projects have led to great interest in international encounters and cooperation, which can be realized very well through projects such as Erasmus+. The project offers a participant-friendly opportunity to exchange ideas on specific topics with colleagues from other European countries to benefit from the experiences of others. In this context, it seemed particularly positive that the exchange across national borders offered the opportunity to get to know teaching and media concepts that have developed outside the borders and specifications of our own education system.
