Objectives

With the help of the project, we wanted to strengthen our intercultural project management in order to compensate for possible absences within the college and to distribute the burden of project management among several colleagues. The Erasmus team was to be broadened by sending two colleagues to a corresponding training course. By strengthening our team, we hoped not only to deepen existing partnerships but also to strategically expand with regard to new project partners. In addition to strengthening the intercultural project management, we also wanted to initialize an increase in digital competence. In this regard, we wanted to send colleagues on international training courses or to job shadowings, whereby in the course of these mobilities a lively exchange of projects and ideas was to take place in professional dialogues. These professional discussions should ultimately lead to a revision of the subject curricula of the upper school, so that the digital competence of the upper school should be successively improved.

Background

We wanted to carry out the project in order to be able to send colleagues on training courses and job shadowing, so that they would receive a significant increase in competence in two key areas. On the one hand, the increase was to take place in the digital area, and on the other hand, in the intercultural area. In order to strengthen the intercultural competence of the school, we hoped that the project would enable us to build up or further develop our networking with European partners, as we are in an unsuitable location for intercultural encounters due to the rural environment of the school. Furthermore, we wanted to professionalize more colleagues for intercultural exchange projects so that our school is even more broadly positioned in the intercultural area. The digitalization of our upper school was and is an important concern for us, as it is equipped with smartboards and iPads throughout. With the project, we wanted to strengthen digitization and further develop digital topics so that we can expand our European cooperation and possibly develop into a European school.
