Objectives

The teacher mobility should serve to enable a European comparison in the sense of "Best Practice" between the own school and the schools and educational institutions of the project partners. In comparison, the focus was placed on aspects such as:1. IT infrastructure, 2. the further digital development of teaching from a pedagogical, didactic and methodological point of view, 3. the digital organization of the school, 4. the cooperative design of the school, 5. the strengthening of digital expertise, 6. as part of personnel development, the promotion and further development of skills for working and teaching with digital means. Through the stays abroad, our teachers should be given the opportunity to "think outside the box", gain a professional exchange in the field of digitization, be open to the European Union and share and multiply their experiences at school with their colleagues and students. Thanks to new contacts, teachers were able to create a small European network for the school and use this profitably in the future for further European projects or Erasmus+ applications.

Background

As part of school development and the "DigComEdu Bavaria" (digitally supported learning and teaching in face-to-face classes) introduced by the Bavarian state government, the aim was to optimize the digitization of our school. Aim of the project "Digital Education in Vocational and General Education Schools - Dig it!" was the digital advancement of the Traunstein vocational high school. The focus was on the following development goals: 1. Optimization of digital communication between school management, teachers and students and 2. Optimization of the IT infrastructure, i. H. , providing uniform, pedagogically sound IT equipment in all classrooms and appropriate equipment with digital media for teachers and students. Furthermore, our teachers should have the opportunity to attend individual European training courses on this topic. The offer of the European platform "European Gateway" was preferred here. Teachers should be given the opportunity to compare themselves with other European countries, i.e. H. with the teachers in the target country and to receive new suggestions/impulses regarding the use of digital teaching media and methods.
