Our teachers should be supported in being able to offer practical and hybrid lessons at all school levels with the support of new media under pedagogical aspects. The selected training courses should help to link digital learning aids with analogue learning situations. In follow-up projects, we want to motivate other teachers and then support them in integrating this link into their own lessons. But it is also important to us to create a diverse learning environment for our students that prepares them for a globally connected world of work. Therefore, we are looking for ways to implement digital media that enables our students to learn individually and independently and provide them with the skills they need in the world of work. We also perhaps hoped for access to new European learning platforms, learning content and technical innovations. We would like to develop pedagogical training concepts that correspond to the times of digitalization and cross-border communication possibilities through innovations and prepare our students for a cosmopolitan and Europe-oriented future.
Our students living in rural areas are confronted with aspects such as unemployment and the resulting reduction in family financial resources, poor public transport connections, limited leisure activities and, in some cases, poor internet connections. Parents from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds are often unable to teach their children the necessary social skills such as self-esteem, sociability, curiosity and openness towards people from other cultures. This results in particular difficulties for us as an educational institution in educating the students to become responsible, Europe-oriented and self-confident citizens. In order to give our students the right and well-founded tools for this, we as a school are very interested in continuing our education in a targeted manner and getting to know, developing and using new tools and methods. We hoped that the further training would give us a multi-perspective view of the goals and methods of education in other European countries and make it useful for our school and students.
