Objectives

The project emphasised "challenging pupils", the growing heterogeneity, and school inclusion requirements. Through an exchange with European schools, we sought practical solutions. The primary aim was to enhance teaching methods and optimise handling challenging pupils. It included: - Teaching strategies that harness pupils' strengths and promote self-learning abilities. - Social collaboration considers various educational approaches and family backgrounds. - Team and personnel development to encourage collaboration among colleagues. With the learning mobilities, we aimed to discover new teaching methods and deepen the dialogue on integration and inclusion. Locally, we emphasised the importance of schools learning from each other, creating synergies, and passing on knowledge to support a continuous educational discussion and culture in the long term.

Background

Due to increasing numbers of pupils with challenging behaviour, schools seek effective methodological solutions. The aim is to establish resilient relationships with these pupils and to provide better support in inclusive everyday life. Therefore, the Regional School Authority of Lichtenberg in Berlin initiated a consortium of five primary schools. Through European exchange and training courses, this collaboration aims to develop practical solutions in lesson design, social coexistence, and team development.
