The exchange with European colleagues promotes the own cultural learning and sensitizes for not only culturally conditioned variations in the educational ideas/methods. The future task is to expand the competencies of the educators and to strengthen them for this change. Educators: -Increase their knowledge for the global challenges of learning in an increasingly mediatized/digitized society, -include attractive and age-specific learning opportunities in effective ways and renew their educational offerings, -are offered opportunities for collaboration and peer learning with colleagues from other countries, -expand their foreign language skills to support students more fully. School -develop through the implementation of tailored learning opportunities (quality development) and facilitate the transition of students through cross-school exchanges. Children/adolescents/parents -are offered more attractive learning environments that effectively prepare them for 21st century learning, -are empowered to actively engage with issues that affect their lives and futures.
In a society of constant change, education faces major challenges. Future tasks can be mastered in multi-professional teams and across institutions. It is essential to enable children and young people to participate in society in an increasingly mediatized and digitized society. It is therefore essential for education to adapt to digital and technological change. To this end, it is important for educators to gain a more holistic understanding of social participation in an increasingly mediatized and digitized society in order to prepare children and young people and their parents for learning in the 21st century and to support them in this process. In addition, we live in an age of global communication, in which foreign language skills are extremely relevant because they broaden career prospects. Moreover, foreign language skills are a necessary medium for intercultural dialogue. The consortium of different schools offers a good network to implement the newly acquired competences in school.
