The aim of the project was to improve the quality of teaching within the consortium partnership. We wanted to achieve more modern, open teaching methods, using digital media and innovative teaching ideas and new concepts. The teachers and trainee teachers were to develop new concepts for dealing with modern media in the classroom by participating in in-service training and to feel more confident in CLIL contents through improved foreign language skills. We wanted to continue to promote the internationalisation in the area of South Thuringia and establish independent Erasmus+ projects at the schools of the consortium.
This project is a follow-up Erasmus+ project that has developed from the previous project. Almost all consortium partners from the previous project were retained, as there was a strong desire among members of the consortium to continue. The consortium partners, who had had the opportunity to participate in training within an Erasmus+ project in the previous project for the first time, wanted the consortium to continue with the Henfling-Gymnasium Meiningen as the consortium leader in order to have a competent contact partner in the implementation. The basic idea of the project is to improve the quality of teaching according to the school development goals of the process individual consortium partners. The desire to use an Erasmus+ project here arose from the desire to be able to see "beyond one's own nose" in order to get to know concepts, structures and teaching solutions in other countries and to be able to have access to further appealing training from renowned providers on special topics.
