We wanted to strengthen our network of Rhineland-Palatinate schools by working together to develop exam-relevant topics in the same professional field. We wanted to exchange experiences with European projects with each other and with other schools by receiving information about the respective projects of the individual schools as well as the current Erasmus+ guidelines. We wanted to expand the European dimension of our schools and get to know other education systems by comparing the school system of the target country with our own in educational visits and getting to know current best practice. We wanted to strengthen the internationalization of vocational training in the field of HVAC by being able to initiate student projects by establishing contacts. We wanted to build the attractiveness of our school locations by building European projects.
We carried out the project to build on existing European projects, initiate new projects and promote our schools in their European development plans. Some participating organizations have very advanced knowledge and expand it, others are still at the very beginning before accreditation and can learn from the participants and exchange ideas. The project is intended to promote the quality of our training as well as the cross-sectional competence of our teachers. In addition, cohesion among each other and within the European Union is to be promoted through newly gained contacts and emerging cooperations. The project should lead to further follow-up projects and promote openness and acceptance as well as tolerance.
