With the project, we wanted to gain knowledge outside of the German education system in digitization in the classroom and exchange information about this with the host organization in Zagreb. Our goals were: - to gain knowledge about the effective use of various information and communication technologies (ICT tools) to create multimedia content, as well as tools to promote student motivation. - to strengthen the promotion of teaching quality in digital education in the “Digital Marketing“ workshop by teaching educational staff how to integrate ICT tools in the classroom (creating a video podcast and promoting it on social networks) - increase competence in the use of digital tools in education, including the creation of online materials and the evaluation of distance learning - promote intercultural understanding by visiting the main cultural institution in Croatia (Museum Klovićevi Dvori) and the network for academic research in Croatia (CARNet).
We carried out this project in order to get to know the host organization in Zagreb better and to exchange our ideas, e.g. how do I deal with the opportunities and challenges of digitization at a vocational school and how do I introduce the competencies from the digital world to the learners in the classroom. Furthermore, we wanted to determine whether a school partnership with student exchange with the host organization is feasible in perspective.
