Objectives

Digitisation: The use of digital learning environments is a great challenge and only works with appropriate training of the teaching staff. On this topic we wanted to exchange and inform ourselves throughout Europe. Curriculum: For all courses of education with a focus on electromobility/vehicle technology, there are curricula and material distribution plans at the RBZ Technik, which should be compared with the Spanish education system. Organisation of teaching and learning: The differences of the VET systems should be elaborated and discussed with regard to teaching and learning with the aim of reviewing and optimising one's own organisation. Motor Vehicle Department: In 2022, a Spanish exchange student was to complete a 3-month internship at a motor vehicle company in Kiel. We took on the role of mediator between the school in Madrid and the company in Kiel for this exchange. In the medium term, trainees from Kiel are also to be sent on an exchange to Madrid. The KA-1 mobility was to serve as an initiation and preparation. Due to the Corona pandemic, this part of the project was not carried out. Only one Spanish exchange student completed the planned work placement in Kiel. For our cooperation with schools in France, another partner organisation and a corresponding cooperation should be developed. The existing contacts to France were to be used to find a partner organisation. To achieve this goal, a mobility could be carried out in 2022.

Background

At the RBZ Technik, the focus on electromobility has been taught in various courses since 2010. New teaching materials have been purchased for this new teaching materials have been purchased for this purpose, which have been incorporated into the lessons via special didactic-methodical concepts. Our partner school in Madrid is also very interested in teaching concepts with a focus on electromobility. In addition, teaching is becoming more and more "digital". For many years there has also been close cooperation between the RBZ Technik Kiel and the Lycée Polyvalent les Bourdonnières in Nantes, France. Supervising foreign language assistants at the RBZ Technik, organising internships, student exchanges as well as school partnerships within Europe is a central element of the school culture of the RBZ Technik, which is to be further expanded in the future. In addition, the training also serves to strengthen their own professional competences, which are essential for modern foreign language teaching.
