Objectives

Our main objectives were to empower our teaching staff with advanced teaching methodologies and intercultural skills. Specifically, we aimed to: Enhance teaching competencies: Provide language teachers with innovative teaching methods and tools to improve language education quality. Develop language skills: Enable non-language teachers to conduct parts of their subjects in English, expanding their linguistic capabilities. Foster classroom management: Equip young teachers with effective classroom management techniques and modern teaching approaches. Facilitate European collaboration: Strengthen international collaboration through participation in Erasmus+ courses, fostering cross-border networks. Boost motivation: Increase teacher motivation through exposure to novel ideas, strategies, and practices, reflecting positively on student engagement. Elevate school image: Improve the school's reputation by having well-trained, motivated teachers who offer enhanced education quality. In the long term, we aimed to create a positive learning environment, enhance student outcomes, and prepare our graduates for success in an increasingly globalized world.

Background

We conducted this project to enhance the competencies and motivation of our teachers. Given the increasing international orientation of education and the job market, it's crucial for our teachers to be equipped with innovative teaching methods and intercultural skills. Through training abroad, they can deepen their language proficiency and acquire new teaching approaches to integrate into their classrooms. This will not only elevate the quality of education but also boost student motivation and, in the long run, enhance our school's competitiveness in the European educational and employment landscape.
