In the following years, the Gymnasium Nordenham aims for a gradual (long-term objective). This should include the entire school, enrich the staff and the students in equal measure and lead to visible changes in everyday school life. The individual structured training courses for two colleagues, who from now on should act as Erasmus+ coordinators at the school, are intended to lay the foundations on which further work in the field of international cooperation is to be built. A central component of this international cooperation should be Erasmus+ projects.
After a generational change in the teaching staff, the Gymnasium Nordenham has hardly any experience in the field if intercultural cooperation. Only in among the french teachers, there has been an irregular exchange with a school in France, which finally came to a standstill. As a result, there was a lot of catching up to do in this area. The structured training courses offered by the Erasmus+ program seemed to be a very good opportunity to introduce individual colleagues to Erasmus+ work and to the field of international project management in general.
