Our main goal was to work on maintaining and furthering the health and well-being of our colleagues and students despite of our often stressful daily life. Therefore, courses which taught different techniques to deal with difficult situations were the main focus of our project. Another aim was to further the foreign language skills of our colleagues since they play a huge role in making our school more inclusive and are part of professionalizing our teaching staff. The third goal we set was within the subjects of media and arts. Our colleagues teaching these subjects wanted to use the courses to further their professional development and to find inspiration for new projects with their students.
This is our school’s second Erasmus Plus project. After the positive reactions to our first project we decided to apply for another project to further the development of our school. Together we thought about what the aims of our new project should be and soon found a recurring theme within the suggestions: Health – the health of all involved in our school. The structured courses available through Erasmus Plus lend themselves to work on this topic in manifold ways. Because of the positive feedback from our first projects even more of our colleagues wanted to be part of this second project and spread the results within our school community.
