The training courses that took place in Spain and Ireland were all selected by the colleagues under the major project theme of "digitization". The training courses to be attended focus on "Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)". The project descriptions coincide in many points exactly with the needs we registered, namely the sensible use of new technologies in the classroom. The colleagues hoped that they would be able to train their own methodological skills in the training courses and also teach the students how to use digital media sensibly in order to expand their self-learning skills. As part of the transition to primarily digital instruction, various internal training courses were held at our school in this area. were held in this area at our school. The basic idea was to professionalize our school in the main focus "digitalization" and to establish new contacts with European colleagues, using digital media as a means of communication, for example through eTwinning projects, email exchange, collaboration on international projects, etc. Even before we received the European School Certificate, we have maintained regular contacts with schools in other European countries in the form of in the form of Erasmus+ (then Comenius) programs or exchange programs.
