Our goal was to further internationalise the school in an economic environment characterised by international companies. To this end, we identified the following areas: - Competence development of teachers in relation to the target language and the methodology and didactics of foreign language teaching. - Integration of the school into international contexts - Increasing the social and emotional competence of the teachers involved - Initiation of cooperation
As a large, regional educational centre, it is our special task to constantly develop ourselves with regard to intercultural educational concepts. Particularly due to our training courses, which are diversified both in breadth and depth, and our further education paths, it is necessary for us to regularly revise our curricula and adapt them to the needs of our pupils and students in this regard. There is room for different types of schools at our vocational school centre, including part-time vocational school forms for various dual training occupations, full-time school forms for acquiring basic qualifications, full-time school assistant training (foreign language secretarial, information technology-economics and social assistance), a gymnasiale Oberstufe (upper secondary school) as well as a Fachoberschule (specialised upper secondary school) and the Fachschulen für Sozialassistenz, Technik und Wirtschaft (specialised schools for social assistance, technology and economics). In order to prepare our students for the internationalised labour market and a life in Europe as well as political participation, it is logical that internationalisation is an important school development goal.
