Background

On the one hand, we wanted to use this KA101 project to advance the INTERNATIONALIZATION of our school that has been set in motion by preparing a large number of teachers for the challenges of a global world (Goal 1). This is accompanied by the sub-goal of improving the quality of teaching at our school (Goal 1.1) as well as the attempt to offer many 11th grade students the opportunity of an internship abroad in the future (Goal 1.2). Therefore, we also wanted to use the KA101 measures to get in touch with people and institutions with whom we can cooperate in realizing the internship abroad. Another development goal is the DIGITALIZATION of our school (Goal 2). The KA101 project was intended to contribute to creating the pedagogical and didactic possibilities at our school to educate students to use modern media in a self-determined, responsible and critically-reflective manner. We wanted to prepare our teachers for the upcoming changes (keyword: digital learning environment) through further training and to get in touch with schools abroad that are already more advanced in digitalization than we are.
