Objectives

The inital thought for visiting the course "Integrating Climate Issues into the Classroom" was to include current , relevant topics into the English Classroom. It then developed into the test stage of an stand-alone project week, who's resources can be used for the further development in the newly founded climate clun.

Background

Reason for the project was to allow our socio-economically week students to broaden their horizons. Very few students have ambitions to get involved in even their local communities. Starting as a project for cultural exchange (which was fostered by the course taken in Malta, the pandemic lead to a personel change and corresponding choices of courses. This lead to a second try and the ambition to include the topic of climate change into the schools english lessons.
