Objectives

Our primary objectives include: 1. Improving Teaching Skills: Our first objective is to provide our young colleagues with opportunities to enhance their teaching skills. Through international mobilities, we aim to expose them to innovative teaching methods, best practices, and pedagogical approaches that will elevate the quality of education they deliver. 2. Learning about new teaching methods: We are committed to ensuring that our colleagues stay at the forefront of educational innovation. By participating in mobilities, they will have the chance to learn about cutting-edge teaching methods and technologies, which will enrich their teaching repertoire. 3. Better Classroom Management: Effective classroom management is essential for a productive learning environment. One of our core objectives is to empower our colleagues with the skills and strategies needed for improved classroom management, ensuring that their students have a conducive space for learning. 4. Cultural Awareness: In an increasingly interconnected world, fostering cultural awareness is paramount. Our project strives to instill in our colleagues a deep appreciation for different cultures and worldviews, promoting diversity and inclusivity in their classrooms.

Background

We are a school with a vibrant community of young and eager colleagues, all of whom share a common aspiration: to expand their horizons and further their knowledge. Many of our colleagues are enthusiastic about embarking on international mobilities to gain exposure and expertise in a range of fields. These fields for mobilities encompass Information and Communication Technology (ICT), cultural exchange, and the exploration of innovative teaching methods. The school's student makeup will likely change in the next few years so we will have new challenges to face. The teacher trainings provided some help in that regard. We are also going through a school development process. Therefore we wanted to see best practices from other countries so that we could implement them ourselves. It was very important to us to come into contact with teachers from other countries so that we might be able to job shadowings in the future. We were also interested in making connections so that we could maybe establish student exchanges in the future.
