The project primarily served to equip the teachers of our vocational college for their important European work at school and to expand and update their European knowledge and skills as well as to motivate them to work successfully on European topics. Also the development as well as the consolidation of language skills should be achieved for the teachers and were in the focus as well as the acquisition of knowledge about the culture of the countries to be visited. The aim of the project was also to inspire further staff members for the diverse projects at our European School, so that the work can be distributed on as many shoulders as possible.
HANSE-Berufskolleg has been a certified European School in NRW since 2009 and has been recertified twice since then. It is our concern and part of the value transfer at our vocational college to sensitize the students and trainees, but of course also the teachers for the skills necessary for international cooperation and to familiarize them with them as well as to give them the opportunity to acquire them. In this sense, this project was also designed to further the internationalization of the HANSE-Berufskolleg.
