Art offers a unique means by which we can explore ourselves and who we are in the wider world. It is a way to exchange with other people about what we see, feel, think and sense. Dance is an art form, which in an experiential way helps to open a dialogue within and between individuals and communities. Since the beginning of the world, dancing was a form of a communication. In ancient times, people used to constantly dance, since dance has always been one of the expressions of human beings. Dance is still present in many people’s daily life, especially in rural areas. An individual’s creativity and culture influence her or his dance-making, performing, and viewing. Culture, another key concept in the discipline of dance, refers to the values, beliefs, norms, and rules shared by a group and learned through communication. The relationship between dance and culture is reciprocal. Culture gives meaning to who dances what, why, how, when, where, and with and for whom, in addition to the role of the dance audience. Such variables may bespeak sexual orientation and gender roles, as well as ethnic, national, and other group identities. Dancers may reflect and/or influence culture. Through dance we can learn about very sensitive topics such as any kind of discrimination, migration, inclusion. The project idea was concluded after we have set specific goals and objectives in order to solve specific issues in society. We have noted that social exclusion leads to consequences such as crimes and many health issues (suicides, drug addiction etc.). Therefore our main point was to give equal opportunities for everyone through social inclusion using art as the main tool. As Europe is home for many different nations, cultures, races, genders and we do believe that in Europe there is no space for any kind of discrimination and exclusion, we concentrated on solving issues such as lack of intercultural understanding and dialogue. We worked to overcome mistaken perceptions through dance, dialogue and non-formal education. Our aim was to reach better understanding between different nations and overcome mistaken stereotypes with the art, specifically dancing, as a tool. Dancing in this project was used as a tool to reach our objectives: *To promote discussion for inclusion through dance *To stimulate the idea of social inclusion *To understand what non verbal communication is and how to use it for a better communication; *To promote proximity, interactivity and socialization through dance; *To promote discussion about discrimination and intercultural dialogue with the help of outdoor education methods; *To get intercultural experience by meeting with the representatives of different countries, cultures, backgrounds, religions, practice tolerance and break stereotypes & prejudices; *To raise awareness about different cultures and how art, specifically dancing, is related to each culture. *To build meaningful relations and future cooperation on the basis of this project under E+ This project was related to E+ specific emphasis which is to reach out to marginalized young people, promoting diversity, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, and common values of freedom. We, with the dance as a tool, manage to do the same and fulfill all those specific goals which were very related to our objectives. The outcome of the project was a promotional video of dance (Creative and interesting Mix of different cultures) & fleshmob which we created as a form of public performance made by the participants in Misaktsieli cultural house (with involvement of local Youth more than 200 young people joined). Videos and photos were spread in the partner countries and all around Europe. It helped us to spread the results of the project and at the same time we promoted E+. Through this project and the different tools used in it we worked toward matching the aims of E+ program such as healthier lifestyle and wellbeing within youth, contributing to their active and responsible inclusion in local communities with a proactive and inclusive attitude. The methodology is based on learning by doing, which refers to the process of making meanings from direct experience. The method has been implemented by the concepts of learning by thinking and learning by loving. Learning by thinking denotes the action of reflecting on the process going on, in order to get knowledge from it. Finally, learning by loving expresses the importance given to motivation and passion that enrich the learning experience. Participants also gained parallel competences plus supplementary skills like : •Project Management in the European and national level •Collaboration with their respective international-intercultural groups •Task partition and assignment •Facilitation of activities using non-formal learning methods •Self-confidence in realizing and implementing different activities with youth.
