There were 26 participants, 2 trainers and 2 staff members, 30 persons total in the seminar. The second activity an Youth Exchange with subtitle „Multiculti” was organised during the period 04.09.-11.09.2022 in the Jugendakademie Walberberg (Bornheim-Germany), for 21 participants from 4 countries Greece, Slovakia, Spain and Germany. The project‘s idea was to connect different cultures and social backgrounds through music. The project gave participants the opportunity to explore the importance of cultural heritage for shaping the European identity through music. Music is an excellent way to bring people closer to other cultures, but it can be a carrier of stereotypes and biases. We used music as a method of non-formal education, when working with young people. The main aim of our project was to improve key competencies and skills of young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, promoting active citizenship and intercultural dialogue as well as social integration through culture, music. In particular through more offers we supported learning mobility for young people, of youth work or people and youth leaders working in youth organisations. We strengthened the international dimension of youth activities and improved the capacity of youth workers and youth organisations supporting young people. The purpose of this seminar was to create new synergies between youth work, music and culture. The training seminar's objective was to provide youth workers and leaders of youth organizations with tools, in order to work with young people with an approach to music and culture. We raised awareness about the potentiality of culture and music as non-formal education resources for young people as well as generated cooperation strategies. The training brought together youth workers (professionals or volunteers), who work with young people and have different artistic skills, as well as those interested to develop their skills in working with young people in different types of art projects. During the youth exchange young people had a possibility to lift-up stereotypes and prejudices about music from European sources and other cultures. They raised interest about other people, cultures, music, languages about our cultural heritage. Young people contributed to the creation of a more inclusive society, where diversity is considered as richness. During this youth exchange it was important for us to motivate young people for active participation, take action to promote equality of opportunities and value diversity in their life. We involved young people from different cultural and social backgrounds, facing difficulties in their life.
