Objectives

The aim was to impart various competences to the participants of this youth-exchange. The competence of intercultural communication, the ability to work in a team and the knowledge of how to apply methods for the evaluation of projects were to be promoted. The aim was to enable the participants to develop and realise projects, to impart expert knowledge on planning and financing international youth exchanges, to understand what intercultural learning is and how intercultural learning can be facilitated, organised, carried out and evaluated. The aim was for the participants to develop concepts for international youth projects on this basis in teams during the youth exchange in Serbia, which they would then also realise together in these international project groups in 2022, if possible, with intensive support. The aim was that in 2022, international youth exchanges would be jointly organised and carried out by the participants of this exchange, which would enable other young people to take part in an international youth exchange. Finally, the five organisations involved in this project wanted to establish a longer-term cooperation among themselves and organise international youth encounters together beyond 2022.
