With the youth encounter we want to achieve that the young people become the playmakers of their own lives and furthermore that they realize that their own life also includes the corresponding environment, which can be shaped and changed. The aim is to motivate young people to actively participate in society by developing their own abilities and skills and to think about this not only nationally but also internationally. This also includes a certain intercultural understanding and the reduction of stereotypes and prejudices. we are not all the same, but we can still have the same goals and strengthen each other. The project should also take away the fears of the young people about their own future and consciously include topics such as digitalisation and the environment, which make the young people feel insecure. Values like democracy, solidarity and friendship can grow and flourish in this encounter. Equal opportunities at all levels are a matter of course here.
