1. To tightend the relationship between the two schools. 2. To expand the EFA-network in Central Europe with the ambition of planning and applying for new projects together. 3. To seek and find new inspiration.
We applied for the project with the ambition to build a new network in Central Europe with the ambition for future exchanges for both students and teachers. Sophieskolen is an active participant and member of Exhanges For All, - and for several years we have been participating in various students´ and staff exhanges with schools in the Baltic region, - Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany. For some time we have worked on expanding our network in to Central Europe as well, and we have received staff members on exchanges from two schools in Hungary. In the continuos search for partner schools who are interested in participating in EFA youth camps in CE - one of the teachers from the hungarian schools linked us up with Gymnázium Ivana Kupca, Komenského 13, Hlohovec, and we hope to tightend the relationship between our two schools with the ambition of executing further exchanges for both staff and students. The project should also be seen as a way of putting the municipality´s strategy for international cooperation into practise: - The international work must contribute to developing the municipality and it´s service including developing the employees professional competences. - The international work and EU supported projects are extended to all parts of the municipality´s organization.
